Congratulations to B-Team Football for their 33-0 win over Nelson last night.

FBLA members are reminded that the $20 dues are due today to Mrs. Hundley.  FBLA members need to be selling pizza and if you do not have a sheet, please see Mrs. Hundley.

Powder Puff football and cheerleading practice is next Wednesday 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the football field.

Students auditioning for All-District Chorus will practice today until 4:30 pm.

Mrs. Manning will hold a Biology study group in her room every morning before school for any student who would like to review for upcoming tests or who need additional help.

There will be a Middle School SCA meeting today after school in Mrs. Stallard's classroom.  Please make sure your ride is here at 3:30 to pick you up.

The Spanish Club is selling ¡Viva los Colonels!(Long Live the Colonels) long sleeve t-shirts and hoodies.  Hoodies are $28 and t-shirts are $15.  See Mrs. Hines for an order form.  Order forms are due back by October 26th.

The Powder Puff Football game will be held on Monday October 24th at 6:30 pm.  Anyone still wanting to order a pink or purple shirt can pick up an order form at Mrs. Watson's room.  These need to be returned to her no later than 3:00 pm today.  Anyone participating as a cheerleader or football player is required to purchase a shirt to coordinate with your specific team

NJHS will have a meeting today at 3:00 pm in Mrs. Watson's room.

Basketball Cheerleading tryouts will be held on October 22nd in the Old Gym from 9 am to 12 pm.  You must have a VHSL physical on file with AHS to tryout.  The tryout sign-up sheet is outside of Mrs. Gray's room along with extra physical forms.

Girls on the Run Celebration 5K will be Saturday November 19th at Sweet Briar.  If any AHS student needs community service hours, we have a bus reserved to transport all volunteers.  Sign ups are located on the bulletin board across from Mrs. Watson's room.

The Anti- Bullying Club will meet today in Mrs. Schultz’s classroom until 3:45. Please make sure that you have a ride home.

The Society of Women Engineers invites you to apply for a place in their High School Visitation Program taking place on November 19th at the University of Virginia.  The application deadline is October 22nd.

The Virginia Space Grant Consortium is offering free summer programs that can earn college credit and enhance your education.  You can get a flyer from the counseling office or your science teacher.
