Track practice will start February 29th.  Physicals can be turned in to Coach Smith, Coach Lee or Mrs. Emerson.

Southside Electric Cooperative is accepting applications from high school juniors for their Washington DC Youth Tour.  Juniors from across America meet to lean more about the federal government, meet their congressmen and senators and discuss the importance of being involved in their communities.  This is an opportunity to tour many DC museums, historic locations and make new friends.  See Mrs. Hanson for the website to apply; Deadline is March 11.  

Middle School homerooms are collecting box tops.  These should be turned into Mrs. Stallard by March 1.  The Middle School homeroom that turns in the most box top wins a doughnut breakfast.  Each box top is worth ten cents.

The Forensics team will be collecting relief items over the next week for those impacted from yesterday's events in Appomattox. Starting tomorrow there will be bins by each of the offices to collect relief items, foods, clothes, toys, etc. to be donated to Gleaning for the World.

Miss Rynard will be holding remediation for the eighth grade Writing SOL after school next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until 4:00 p.m. The eighth grade Writing SOL is March 9th and 11th

All FBLA members who are coming to the pizza party Monday at 6:00 in the first cafeteria need to tell Ms. Mills before leaving school today.

Football weight lifting will start back up Monday February 29th after school
